Head of Marketing National
Full Time
As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that promote our venues, increase membership and participation and enhance customer engagement. You will lead a team of marketing professionals and work closely with other departments to achieve our business goals.
This role requires a creative thinker with a proven track record in marketing leadership, who can not only craft compelling marketing messages but also analyse data to guide strategy and decision–making.
Primary objectives for the Head of Marketing will be
- Working closely with the Strategic Director, develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's objectives.
- Develop and evolve the marketing implementation plan, translating the marketing strategy into integrated campaigns, PR, digital / performance marketing and content in line with the marketing budget.
- Lead, inspire, and manage the marketing team to achieve outstanding results.
- Oversee the company's brand management, including brand positioning, market competitiveness, and public relations efforts.
- Manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring maximum ROI on marketing campaigns.
- Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify new marketing opportunities.
- Coordinate digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media and online advertising.
The Person This role requires exceptional skills in organisation and time management and the ability to successfully deliver multiple projects under tight deadlines. This role requires strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence key internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will therefore be able to demonstrate that they can lead the marketing team and positively contribute to the future development of the company. To do this they will have carried out a similar role in a team that has responsibility for or major influence on the strategic direction of a similar size business, the successful achievement of defined aims and objectives, and the day to day running of a marketing team within an organisation.
The successful candidate will be able to give evidence of managing a large budget and creating and implementing successful customer marketing strategies.
It would be advantageous if the successful candidate can demonstrate competencies of working in a customer focused organisation with a strong understanding of digital acquisition techniques and CRM.
