We are looking for a Senior Flow Assurance Engineer to provide analysis and technical support to the various Flow Assurance projects undertaken by Genesis. The engineer will be part of the UK flow assurance team and the wider global flow assurance community.

We are seeking a Consultant Engineer with expertise in Technical Safety & Risk studies. The role involves independent operation, performing assessments and writing reports with support from the Study Manager. Proficiency in industry modelling and analysis techniques is preferred. The work encompasses conceptual studies, design, operational support, and decommissioning. The Consultant engineer must interface with clients, engage in marketing and business development, and represent Genesis in industry working groups. Essential requirements include experience in Technical Safety, Risk, and Loss Prevention, an Engineering degree, workshop management skills, execution of Risk studies, and knowledge of regulatory frameworks. Advantageous experience includes Functional Safety, tools like PHAST and Flaresim, and expertise in CCUS, Hydrogen, and Wind.

You will work on a variety of projects, involved in compressor surge analysis, holistic simulation, control optimisation & validation, process safety time analysis, liquid surge (water-hammer) assessment, HIPPS response times, heat exchanger tube rupture and many more unique issues that are faced by our clients. Working under the mentorship of our dynamic process simulation Subject Matter Expert you will lead several dynamic simulation projects. You will be responsible for supporting and guiding junior engineers, checking their results and reporting to the client.
