Position: Stress Engineer
Pay rate: £52 p/h inside IR35.

Role Type: 06 Month Contract with extension

IO Associates seeks a Stress Engineer for the Broughton site. Join a global aerospace leader specializing in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. Responsibilities
- Proficient in conducting static structural analysis for both composite and metallic materials.
- Skilled in analyzing and validating metallic, composite, and hybrid structures at the component level to assess static strength, fatigue and damage tolerance, and generate relevant strength margins or reserve factors following validated Airbus methods and sizing processes.
- Capable of providing comprehensive stress analyses for repairing or accepting metallic, composite, or hybrid structures.
- Committed to ensuring compliance with airworthiness requirements for aircraft structures.
Skills Required
- Preferably possesses T400 concessions approval for stress analysis, although it is not mandatory.
- Company is willing to consider candidates who lack this specific approval but have relevant experience in stress analysis and/or concessions.
- Valuable experience includes working with other aircraft types, military aircraft, or possessing product knowledge within the aviation industry.
