Maintenance Engineer
£32,000 – £34,000
Oldbury
Full Time – Permanent

We are looking for a maintenance engineer to join our client’s team, in Oldbury who are a house-hold name and an industry leader. This is a full-time permanent position with a salary range of £32,000 – £34,000. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and systems in a manufacturing environment.

• End of year bonus
• 6am-3pm with flexibility required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new systems and electronics quickly.
• Electrical and mechanical aptitude and the skill to disassemble and reassemble complex devices.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLC fault finding.
• Experience of working with equipment such as sewing machines, motors, conveyors, belts etc. (preferred).
• Welding, soldering and fabrication skills (preferred).
• Good understanding of bearings, motion systems and their maintenance (preferred).
