This is a hybrid role for Northern Ireland employees (2-3 days per week in the office) and fully remote for elsewhere in the UK/ROW.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Steward to lead activities related to data documentation, definition, education, and governance. The candidate will shape how the organization interacts with, learns from, and uses its data. The individual should possess a strong background in managing and ensuring quality, security, and compliance of data assets. This role requires active collaboration across the organization using process-oriented approaches and spearheading knowledge management systems as the source of truth (e.g., Confluence, Secoda and JIRA).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Attributes Required:

Knowledge and Specialist Skills:

  1. Education – Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, advanced degree preferred
  2. Experience – minimum 10 years' experience in a similar data steward role ideally or with experience in similar role handling bulk data import and export, and exposure to cloud based warehousing platforms like Snowflake, Amazon Redshift and Google Bigquery
  3. Experience with healthcare , especially claims data is necessity and diagnostic/lab data desired
  4. Certifications such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional), a plus
  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
