What you will do in your working day
The role of a Vehicle Technician Apprentice:
- Carrying out maintenance and repair work
- MOT's
- Turning & remapping
- Ordering tyres
- DPF cleaning
- Diagnostics
- Parts & accessories
- Wheels alignment
- Visual inspections and care of customer vehicles
- Completion of relevant documentation
- Working with System Technicians on more complex and extensive diagnostic and repair tasks
The training you will be getting
- You will be attending one day per week at North Kent College with a choice to go to Gravesend or Hadlow to study Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician - Light Vehicle Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- To be a fully qualified mechanic
