Job description

Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of English to join a High School based in Sutton.

The High School is seeking an engaging and passionate teacher to deliver English to highly motivated girls in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. This is a part-time role (working four days per week).

The successful candidate should have the capability to teach across the secondary age range, creating challenging and thought-provoking lessons, with an emphasis on creativity and collaboration. At their school, girls want to learn, and you can focus on teaching your subject and enthusing them. Experienced teachers receive a generous planning allowance (20% PPA). For ECTs, additional planning time is given, and they have a comprehensive ECT mentoring programme.
