Contract6 months+£250+ per day (depending on experience)

Main Duties:Produce a Safeguarding Partnership communications and engagement strategy, ensuring the voice of children and vulnerable adults is reflected.Enhance sustainable digitalised communications systems using readily available social media and working with the Council’s IT and communications teams.Provide training and development for the safeguarding partnership and communications team on digitalised communications.Develop effective links with the councils and partners communications leads, via the one communications sub-group to enhance capability to reach the local professional, voluntary and resident communities.Develop the new Safeguarding partnership website.Produce an enhanced safeguarding partnership newsletter.Person Specification:Safeguarding legislations in relation to adults and children partnerships arrangements.Community safety legislation.A knowledge and understanding of a wide range of social media and digital platforms is essential.A sound understanding of GDPR regulations and adherence to confidentiality in relation to personal information is essential.You will have experience of working in a high pressure and high-risk statutory provider environment where the stakes are high and risk management is a highly refined art form!A journalism qualification would be an advantage.Benefits:
