About Our Client
My client based in Oxford are looking for a Finance Analyst with exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. You will report into the Senior Financial & Planning Manager and be responsible for owning Balance sheet & P&L reporting, preparation of monthly management accounts including accruals & prepayments.
The company have parking on site, offer hybrid working, and salary ranges from £45k - £55k depending on experience.
Job Description
Finance Analyst responsibilities:
- Ownership of Balance sheet & P&L reporting
- Monthly review of aged debtors and creditors
- Maintenance and updating of Fixed Asset Register including monthly depreciation calculations
- Preparation of monthly management accounts including accruals & prepayments
- Ensure that revenue is recorded accurately & reported to ensure billing is up to date
- Ensure Sales invoices are raised
- Ensure refunds are processed on a weekly basis with AP
- Process payroll journals from external payroll provider & reconcile PAYE control
- Assist Senior Manager with the preparation of the cost budgets
- Ensure proposed capital spend is approved in line with procedure & budget
The Successful Applicant
The successful Finance Analyst experience/ skills:
- Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA or other relevant experience
- Highly analytical with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and external parties
- Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Competent using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
