Position: Senior Manager, Learning Experience & Delivery Location: Princeton, NJ Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Learning Experience & Delivery manages and ensures the successful engagement with our R&D leaders and learners to support the effective design and delivery of impactful R&D-specific learning experiences. This role will partner with our team members to ensure timely learning development and delivery, define, and implement the learner engagement strategies as well as utilize learning feedback and metrics to improve the delivery of our learning programs over time. Additional responsibilities of this role include learning event management, coordination of learning content delivery (vendor, curated or internally developed), as well as the facilitation and/or delivery of live in-person and hybrid learning events.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with internal R&D stakeholders to identify & solution R&D learning and development needs and ensure the successful and on-time development & delivery of high-quality learning programs
- Developing learning experiences & content specific for R&D audiences that support the transfer of knowledge for critical R&D roles, R&D processes and development of the R&D learning culture
- Facilitation of in-person and hybrid learning events supporting knowledge sharing, such as lessons learned sessions, R&D orientation, communities of practice, train-the-trainer and others
- Curating content from existing BMS resources and preferred vendors to address R&D learning & development requirements
- Driving the development of R&D learning culture through the implementation of new and engaging learning experiences, technology and knowledge sharing opportunities
- Partnering with learning vendors & contractors as necessary to support the development and delivery of content and our learning programs
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree a plus
- Five to eight years of experience in the coordination and delivery of adult learning experiences in a Biopharmaceutical company
- Experience planning and managing multiple learning projects/events simultaneously
- Knowledge of the R&D organization and drug development process
- Experience with learning content development
- Experience facilitating learning and knowledge sharing sessions
- Experience engaging and managing learning vendors
Experience - Understanding of BMS LMS administration tools and technology
- Experience building, developing and launching learning programs
- Strong customer experience and engagement skills
- In depth knowledge of learning technology and learning innovation landscape
- Project Planning and Agile Project Management skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality delivery
