Centric Talent are currently recruiting for Call Handlers on behalf of our client, who are an outsourced service provider to the retail and eCommerce sector. Our client offers contact centre and fulfilment services, across four UK locations with a combined capacity of over 800,000 square feet and over 350 contact centre seats.
Our client is the second largest postal provider in the UK with a vast range of mail, parcels and Door drop media products and services, both in the UK and internationally. They work in partnership with many of the UK’s most recognisable brands.
They are now looking for hard-working Call Handlers to join them on a prestigious campaign for one of their major debt solutions clients. This role will involve taking inbound calls from customers and arranging for payment and will involve speaking to people with challenges.
Call Handler - The Role & Responsibilities
Your role will include but is not limited to:
- Handle calls and queries appropriately, in a polite and professional manner.
- Take payments over the telephone.
- Negotiate suitable payment arrangements with debtors.
- Answer debtor queries using Client systems.
- Update status of accounts accordingly via Client systems.
- Review debtor evidence in line with acceptable company standards
- Adhere to client business parameters.
- Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements on every call.
Call Handler - Working Hours Monday to Friday 40 hours per week. 9am - 530 and 1130 - 8pm
Some weekend work may be required so you will need flexibility
Experience/Skills needed for this role. - Excellent listener and communicator
- Strong customer service skills
- Resilience
- Ability to affectively work in a team.
- Be self-motivated and work well towards targets.
- Good PC Literacy skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
- Good Negotiation skills
- Previous experience in a fast-paced office/call centre environment advantageous
- Previous experience in debt recovery or payment management desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
