We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Multi-Projects Group in Farnborough.

This position serves as an Engineering Manager for multiple projects. Projects vary from concept design to FEED, Detail Design or full EPCM. As an Engineering Manager you will be involved in all these projects to a greater or lesser extent. You will be the focal point for discipline lead engineers overseeing all aspects of engineering in a challenging environment with tight schedules and complex deliverables. This task requires a strong drive for results and a keen eye for profitability. The potential for helicopter view and strategic insight are a prerequisite, as well as the willingness to constantly learn and develop yourself.
Projects will be typically small to medium size and can be located anywhere in Europe, covering a wide diversity of scopes and industries.
Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and significant work-related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required.
• You have experience in the Life Sciences industry, especially pharmaceuticals, over the last 10 - 15 years of your career.
• You gained your experience within an engineering discipline like Mechanical, Process, Civil Structural, Electrical & Control Systems or Piping and are currently working in a leadership role as an engineering manager (or similar) and looking for the next step in your career.
• Willingness to travel within Europe to support the Advanced Technology & Life Science Projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Proficiency in English, additional languages would be beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications
• Site/Construction experience
• Professional registration and membership in Technical Society.
• Technical knowledge or previous experience in Advanced Manufacturing and/or Advanced Technologies.
