We are currently looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis in the Melton Mowbray area. This position involves full-time day-to-day cover, including general supply cover and 1-2-1 support. The successful candidate will work closely with primary students, providing support across all subject areas.
- Provide general support and assistance to primary students in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Deliver 1-2-1 support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Assist with classroom activities and help students with their learning and development.
- Support the class teacher in implementing lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members.
- GCSE English
- GCSE Maths
- Minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Ability to be attentive and provide support to students.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
- Contract position with the possibility of extension.
- Work in a classroom environment with primary students.
- Day to day pre books and morning calls.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
