Job Description

The Ideal Freight Operations Manager who will be reporting into the General Manager will have the following Skills and Attributes:

• Oversee Operations Team
• Negotiation of Air, Road and Sea spot quotations
• Manage and oversee freight bookings from start to finish
• build positive relationships with carriers, suppliers, and partners including existing clients.
• Manage, develop and mentor operations teams via 1 to 1 development and KPI tracking
• Solve commercial and operational challenges
• Proactively improve efficiency of operations and making positive commercial decisions

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Freight Operations Manager will have the following skills and attributes:

• Experience managing operational teams within Freight: Air, Sea or Road (REQUIRED).
• Commercial understanding of freight industry and ability to follow trends.
• Attention to detail across all levels
• Ability to support the team and problem solve.
• Commute to Heathrow
