About the role

Connex Education Wales are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisorto work in one of our partner schools within the Monmouthshire area.

Are you adaptable, patient and have a love for learning? Working as a Cover Supervisor is an excellent way to work in different schools, experience different educational environments and adapting to working with pupils from different backgrounds.

You will play a crucial role in providing short-term cover for absent teachers, ensuring that learning continues uninterrupted and students are engaged in meaningful activities. Working under the guidance of teaching staff, you will supervise classes and facilitate learning in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Person Specification

• Able to supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff.
• Confidently ensure that students are on task and focused on their work.
• Accurately follow the lesson plans provided by teaching staff.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with students and staff.
