Slaughter Operative
Pay : £11.90 unskilled- £16.90 specialist
Shift Pattern: Monday To Friday
6.45am to 5.30pm (2 x half hour unpaid breaks)

We have opportunities for people who want to join a friendly, inclusive, fast-growing business as Slaughter Operatives in our Slaughter hall.
Roles and responsibilities
Ensuring the factory remains clean and tidy.
Assisting senior slaughter operatives in their work carrying out various tasks.
Moving carcasses into walk-in fridges.
Working on a pork slaughter line and being responsible for preparing pigs for food production.
Handling the animals and raw meat.
Adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
Excellent Communication skills as you will be dealing with a diverse workforce as well as communicating with Senior Stakeholders
Experience in UK training Requirements.
A very good understanding of verbal and written English.
Ability to work in a cold environment
Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential as all training will be provided
For skilled - Specialist
It is essential that you hold a Certificate of Competence for this role.
Excellent Communication skills as you will be dealing with a diverse workforce as well as potential communications with Senior Stakeholders.
Experience in UK training Requirements.

Unskilled Operative - £11.90 per hour
Semi - Skilled Operative - £12.90 per hour
Skilled Operative - £13.90 per hour for skilled
Specialist Slaughter Operatives £16.90 per hour
Overtime will be paid for any hours worked over 45 hours per week at time and a half
