Job description
The family are looking for a kind, warm and calm nanny who would like a long term, sole charge position looking after 2 boys ages 5 & 3 years old and shared care with a newborn baby girl with mum who is currently on mat leave.
The suitable candidate will have experience working with preschool and primary school age children and should also be confident with babies and willing to help with supporting mum when needed. Mum will be returning to work in January and the nanny will then have sole charge of all 3 children (the baby will be 1) The right fit is someone who has a genuine love for children and who can help them reach their developmental and educational milestones in a fun and engaging way. The older boy is in FT school and the younger boy is in nursery 1 full day and 2 mornings per week. He will go to school full time in September 2025. The nanny will have sole charge outside of school hours and during the school holidays. While children are at school, the nanny will have time to cook fresh healthy meals, and do some child-related housekeeping duties. The family employ a daily cleaner who is responsible for all deep cleaning, carrying out the family laundry – it is the nanny’s responsibility to focus on the children and their development. The nanny should be a confident driver (a car will be provided), they need to be a self-starter who can take initiative, someone who loves being outdoors, is energetic, and has the ability to be fun and adventurous whilst understanding that safety is paramount. The nanny should be able to come up with fun, creative, imaginative and educational activities and play.Job tags
