Marketing Executive

Up to 29k DOE

North Kent

Full-Time – 12 Month FTC (maternity cover)

We are recruiting for a talented Marketing Executive on behalf of our creative and forward-thinking manufacturing company based in North Kent.

This role sits within the Group marketing division, supporting the Marketing Manager with both national and internal marketing activity. To help maintain and develop corporate identity internationally through quality, creativeness, and accuracy of design across a range of print and digital communication .

Duties in this role may include but are not limited to:

• Working closely with the Marketing Manager and internal teams to support the marketing activity
• Liaise and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Co-ordinate and attend seminars, exhibitions and hospitality events
• Research market intelligence and trends, industry reports and competitor behaviour.
• Proofread documents for external release.
• Contribute content for web, PR and social media channels
• Maintain strong knowledge of all products and services.
• Manage and monitor marketing budget spreadsheets ensuring that invoices are logged and passed for payment.
• Plan and take initiative to organise and prioritise own workload
• Work beyond business hours and attend UK trade shows when required
• Increasing lead generation for both new and existing customers
• Offering creative ideas and input into the implementation of the marketing strategy
• Visit customers to create testimonials , case studies and articles for publication in trade magazines, newsletters and online.
• Database management –record leads from exhibitions.

The successful Marketing Executive will have/be:

• Educated to a Marketing degree level or equivalent
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Able to work well under pressure with strong time management
• Excel lent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Programmes – InDesign, Photoshop, Captivate and Premier Pro
• Experience using email Marketing Software and a CRM systems
• Ability to solve problems and consider a range of possible solutions .
• Confidence to effectively communicate with customers and coll eagues
