Title: Security Design Engineer

My clients are looking for a skilled and experienced Security Design Engineer to join their established team based in the vibrant city of Houston, Texas. Our client is an industry leader specializing in electronic security solutions across various sectors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification related to Electronic Security
- Strong knowledge and experience with CCTV, Access Control & Intrusion Detection systems
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
Skills:
As this role involves designing secure infrastructures that protect people and assets from harm while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements; applicants must possess excellent skills such as;
- Demonstrated ability to develop technical designs relating specifically to physical security measures.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams comprising architects/consultants/dealers/subcontractors etc.
- Knowledge of applicable codes & regulations including UL standards/NFPA guidelines/Federal Regulations/Electrical Codes etc.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with clients throughout project life cycles on projects involving multiple locations spread over Texas. The primary responsibilities include but not limited too;
- Develop comprehensive plans identifying potential risks/hazards/threats/vulnerabilities specific both internal / external factors which may compromise safety/security/integrity/sustainability objectives, and define appropriate countermeasures/mitigation strategies accordingly,
- Create detailed cost estimates/budget proposals/time lines/project planning documents/etc.,
- Conduct surveys/audits/investigations/risk assessments/etc.
- Produce written reports/presentations/diagrams/charts/graphs/maps/photos/videos/scenarios/examples demonstrating complex issues/concepts/data/results/findings/recommendation without jargon,
Salary:
My client offers competitive salaries starting at $100000 per annum plus benefits packages commensurate upon qualifications/experience/certification levels.
