Job description
**A Carer/ Support worker for a young boy aged 9 living with Cerebral Palsy. Based in the St Neots area, Cambridgeshire, PE19 **
**Up to £14.00 per hour**
About me:
I am a happy, bubbly little boy who enjoys going to school, swimming, soft play, watching TV, films especially C Beebies. I enjoy play fighting with my daddy and little brother. I love going out especially to restaurants and going out for walks in the countryside. I have a great sense of humour, with a wicked laugh. I love slap stick humour, but I can often understand more subtle adult humour. I am always laughing at one thing or another. I live at home with my mummy and daddy, my little brother Morgan and my pet Chihuahua Fletcher. I like routine, my home is my safe place. I am non-verbal although Im very chatty in my own way . I understand everything you are saying. My communication is limited but I do this by signing, pointing and by the use of my talker. I am non-mobile but I can commando crawl and shuffle about on the floor in the prone position. I have also managed to side sit which impresses my family. I use a wheelchair and can propel myself when I want to. My condition makes it harder for me to propel so I do get tired but I am getting better. I am not a fussy eater and this is something I am very good at. I can use a spoon but when Mummy is not looking I like to use my hands. I only drink water and milk. I do not have any allergies. My condition is a psychical disability. So, I need help with moving. I am working on my toileting and do use the toilet for a wee. I still wear nappies so I will need help with toileting and care needs. Things I do not like: I do have a slight Sensory disorder. My biggest struggle is with loud sudden noises. I do not like being near traffic especially motorbikes! I do not like Fairgrounds, flashing lights etc.
