Job description
Do you have a keen interest in music? Are you passionate about helping others? Looking to further your career in education or a recent graduate with some experience working with children in the UK?
If so, we have a great opportunity to join a fantastic primary school, in the Hillingdon area, as a music High Level Teaching Assistant!
This is a full time, long term role. You must be available immediately, Monday-Friday, 8:30-4pm. You do not need to be a qualified teacher however experience working with children in the UK is essential.
The role:
· Assist the teacher by taking small groups or individuals out of lessons to teach music.
· As a High Level Teaching Assistant you will support the students who are preparing for music exams, ensuring they get any extra help they need.
· Collaborate with staff to create a dynamic and inspiring learning environment as a High Level Teaching Assistant.
· Contribute to the planning and delivering of lessons, providing lesson cover when required.
· Mentor and guide students in their musical journey
Requirements:
· Available Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4pm.
· Able to start immediately as a High Level Teaching Assistant (music).
· DBS checked and on the update service or willing to apply for one.
· Experience working with children in the UK.
· Live in Hillingdon or able to commute to the area.
