We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Front of House Manager to join our team based at Burley Manor. Joining us on a 40 hour a week permanent basis you will receive a competitive salary of £28,080.00 per annum, plus service charge.

Responsibilities of our Front of House Manager:
As our Front of House Manager, you will ensure that reception is running smoothly at all times and that guests booked into the hotel are catered for and requests are promptly dealt with. You will organise the cleaning of bedrooms and public areas in accordance with Hotel standards. Our Front of House Manager will also rota staff according to the level of business and liaise with CCL to ensure staffing levels fit with the business needs and hotel KPI’s.
- Training all new staff on reception
- Responding to guest reviews on TripAdvisor and Booking.com, communicating anything urgent to the General Manager
- Ensuring all visitors are signed in and out of the hotel
- Ensuring all maintenance is reported in all rooms
- Balancing night audit/shift reports at the end of every shift
- Ensuring all rooms/public areas are cleaned and tidied correctly
- Carrying our Head Housekeeper checks with assistance from the Management Team to make sure that all appliances are working
- Ensuring all new staff receive adequate training and sign off the training plans
- Ensuring a safe environment for staff and guests
Qualifications & Experience of our Front of House Manager:
- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent qualification), grade ‘C’ or above in Maths and English
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- A good, confident telephone manner
- A willing team player with a flexible working attitude
- A practical and confident approach to problem solving
- An organised individual who is happy to work on own initiative
