Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a 5 Partner Accounting firm seeking a Tax Manager.

• Ideal candidate should be CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified with at least three years of relevant post qualification experience.
• Looking for a technically minded individual with strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Emphasis on understanding clients' businesses, delivering exceptional service, and identifying tax planning opportunities.
• Requires good technical skills and knowledge in UK tax (both UK and International aspects).
• Responsibilities include reviewing and completing personal, partnership, and trust tax returns and computations.
• Additional tasks involve special assignments, ad-hoc projects, and offering tax advice to clients.
• Provides tax planning and structuring advice to UK and International clients.
• Advises on UK residence, domicile matters, pre-arrival tax planning, inheritance tax, and capital gains tax.
• Manages the processing of various tax returns (personal tax, partnerships, trust, p11d).
• Oversees and reviews work done by the team, assists with HMRC tax enquiries, and acts as a primary client contact.
• Conducts regular training on tax matters for staff and controls cost budgets.
• Meets reporting timetables and prepares key client reporting documents.
• Capable of writing articles for publication and conducting presentations in-house, webinars, or international meetings.

• CCH
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Word
• Preferred - Sage / QuickBooks / Xero
