This campus based, full time role, is we hope, a great career opportunity to join a well-established, friendly and successful Sixth-Form College team and to contribute to great post-16 education and skills development in our region.
Our Finance Director will be retiring by the autumn of 2025 after nine successful years of service. This role offers you two years to learn and establish an authoritative understanding of our ever-evolving Further Education operating environment and the potential to step-up to more senior roles in the College.
You will need to be a highly experienced and qualified accountant capable of being fully responsible for cost and cash aspects of budgeting, forecasting and management accounting, for the end-of-year accounts and statutory audit, including responding to an evolving regulatory reporting framework.
Our longstanding accounting system Resource 32000 ceases by autumn 2025 providing a good opportunity to further shape and improve on our streamlined and effective financial reporting systems.
You will provide professional advice and support to our talented education, support and “non-core” delivery managers while managing a committed, competent and highly experienced finance team.
