RMS Recruitment are recruiting for a number of experienced and competent Drivers and Vehicle Inspectors who have a passion for prestige automotive manufacturing.

About the Role:

The role is working for a luxury car and SUV manufacturer, driving and inspecting the most current and pioneering vehicle models in the UK. The role seeks candidates who hold impeccable driving and quality standards alongside the ability to execute vehicle storage and handling to the highest of standards.

• Based at Crewe

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing safe vehicle movements in a multifaceted compound setting
• Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections in accordance with quality standards
• Perform appropriate safety testing of vehicle settings
• Vehicle fuelling and valeting
• Documentation of all associated inspection paperwork

Pattern of Work:We are looking for candidates to work on a weekly shift rotation: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm. Flexibility is required as weekend work IS a requirement of the client as they manufacture vehicles 24/7. Staff predominantly work one of the days every other weekend.

About you:

• All applicants hold a valid driver’s license with less than 6 penalty points & no DR offences.
• The ideal candidate will have 2 years professional driving experience
• The ideal candidate will have experience working within a quality related function
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the automotive industry would be advantageous as would any transferrable production experience
• All applicants will need to pass an onsite drivers’ assessment and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test to be considered for the role.
