Job description

Assistant Environmental Services Technician

Joshua Robert are working with a well-established client that are working with quite a few local authorities and housing associations across the North East.

Sunderland City Council are looking for a number of Assistant Environmental Services Technicians to join their team on a temporary basis, circa 8 months.

Working 37 hours per week and must be flexible with hours.

General maintenance of public parks, cemeteries, playing fields, highways, footpaths, developed and landscaped areas and similar open spaces.
Operating a range of grounds maintenance equipment including strimmer's, blowers, and other grounds maintenance equipment.

Working outdoors in all weather conditions.

The job is physically demanding.

Training and experience is preferred but full training will be provided as well as complying with Health and Safety regulations in accordance with the role.

Driving Licence is desirable but not essential.

Mon - Thurs 7.30am - 15.30pm Fri 7.30am - 15.00pm Must be flexible as these hours could change, depending on needs of business
