PERSON ASSISTANT FOR ADULT MALE WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS 12 hrs p/w Tues & Fri/Sat £10.46

Ross is 33 years old and would love someone to support him he enjoys visiting coffee shops, restaurants and the theatre. He enjoys clothes shopping and he has a lovely disposition.
To support a young man in the home and community to promote is independence.

12 hours approximately will be to support in the community on various outings Tues & Fri/Sat. Saturdays are every other weekend.
Preferably hours from 10am
Probation period: 3 months
LOCATION: Our own home in Farsley LS28 and in the wider community

In order for me to travel you will need to have a clean driving licence and be over 25 years of age in order to drive the Motability vehicle. It is essential that you are able to drive a large vehicle and feel comfortable doing so. My PA will also support me with tasks including administering medication and meal preparation. I also enjoy other leisure activities such as going to the cinema and you will accompany me on these trips.
You should have an enthusiastic attitude to work and be ready to suggest ideas of things to do on various occasions. You must be organised, productive and have a good sense of humour.
SUPERVISION
I will liaise with you regarding the things I would like to do. and we will discuss this prior to going out in the community.
ESSENTIAL
- Able to drive Motability vehicle
- Food preparation
- Confident person who can use their initiative
- Assisting with eating
- Helping me with my daily routine.
