Job description

Role: Senior Estimator
Project: General Highways/ Water & Civils infrastructure
Location: Leicester
Contract: Freelance 3,4 or 5days available (Potential hybrid)
Rate: DOE
Start date: ASAP
Length of contract: 6 months minimum

Key Skills:
•Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers.
•Producing formal quotations to customers.
•Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database.
•Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information.
•Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers.
•1st Principal Estimating.
•NEC knowledge is a (Required)
•JCT experience (Desirable)
•Subcontractor knowledge and little of T1.
•Able to make suggestions to clients in addition to tenders to suggest sustainability/options.
•Looking after and working with 4 estimates.
•Manage teams & the big packages.
•Communicate with the bid manager and ops team weekly.
•Used Corsseway or able to understand.
•Projects range up to 15 million.
