Educational Psychologist
Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our team. As an Educational Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic, emotional, and social development. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to identify and address students' individual needs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students by providing assessment, intervention, and counseling services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, along with a deep understanding of child development and learning theories.
Responsibilities
Conducting psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and weaknesses
Collaborating with teachers and parents to develop individualized learning plans
Providing counseling services to students to address emotional and behavioral issues
Implementing and evaluating intervention strategies to support students' academic progress
Conducting group workshops and training sessions for teachers and parents on topics related to student development and behavior management
Participating in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss student progress and plan interventions
Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring
Requirements
Master's or doctoral degree in Educational Psychology or a related field
Valid state license or certification as an Educational Psychologist
Proven experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Excellent knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of relevant laws and regulations regarding student privacy and confidentiality
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students and stakeholders.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Rate: £57.14
