Project Manager
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Estates Project Manager to join our client’s team, based in Wellington, to support with the planning, execution, and completion of estate projects. The successful candidate be detail-oriented and demonstrate organisational skills developed through project management.
Hours 37hrs pw. Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00. Flexibility may be required to work outside of normal working hours, including occasional weekend work.
Salary £23.83ph
Temporary for six months.
Responsibilities not limited to :
- Work closely with the Assistant Project Manager to devise project plans, timelines, and budgets for multiple concurrent projects.
- Coordinate and facilitate large-scale complex projects, with a focus on engaging key internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate activities, resources, and stakeholders to align with objectives and deadlines.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively address them.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports to track progress, milestones, and budget allocation.
- Monitor the progress of the project, ensuring resource availability and allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive and auditable project documentation in compliance with funder and partner requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver project deliverables.
Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of four years’ experience in project management.
- Experience working across multiple complex projects varying in size and complexity.
- Enthusiastic and exceptional in your field; with a proven track record of excellent results.
- Experience in the development and application of project processes/controls including programmes, reporting, risk, and issues management.
- Excellent communication skills, and the capability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- A confident user of Microsoft Projects.
- Knowledge and experience of effective partnership working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience of building trust and developing a strong working relationships.
- Effectively able to balance competing priorities and a busy workload.
- Flexible, adaptable, and results orientated.
- Confident and resilient – can demonstrate courage of convictions but able to bounce back from setbacks.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
