Relatives for Justice is recruiting for a Therapeutic Programme Coordinator to work with our busy team of professionals delivering Health and Wellbeing Services

RFJ seek applications from suitably qualified persons to the post of Therapeutic Programme Coordinator.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Therapeutic Programme Coordinator Mid-Ulster

 

Post:Therapeutic Programme Coordinator Mid-Ulster

 

Responsible to:          Clinical Operations Lead

 

Salary:£32,909

 

The location of this post may be either RFJ offices 39 Glen Road Belfast OR Irish Street, Dungannon, subject to negotiation

 

*Hybrid working may be considered, subject to negotiation*

 

Main Duties:        

To work with the RFJ therapeutic team in implementing, coordinating and delivering the operational requirements for the therapeutic support services, and in further designing and developing future support services strategy to be responsive to meet the evolving needs of victims and survivors.

 

To receive inhouse and external referrals for counselling in Relatives for Justice.

 

To work closely with the Clinical Operations Lead and Health and Wellbeing Workers in making referrals for clinical assessments, and to external partners and agencies.

 

To work with the organisation’s health and wellbeing workers to ensure smooth referral and support systems for members of RFJ and health and wellbeing programmes.

 

To receive external referrals from the Regional Trauma Network

 

To attend monthly supervision meetings with the Clinical Programmes Lead and monthly offline supervision meetings

 

To develop tools and aids for understanding the effects of conflict related trauma and its effects and assist in the development of regional psycho education programmes

 

To oversee therapeutic compliance with good governance standards, in particular with accreditation bodies such as BACP.

 

To assist with research programmes as part of the strategic and operational plans of RFJ

 

To liaise with the various partnership organisations, networks, statutory providers, and other relevant bodies with responsibility for victims and survivors ensuring that RFJ membership are represented and that support services are adequately resourced and targeted effectively.

 

To ensure effective implementation of all outcome-based monitoring and evaluation systems as required by funders and accreditation bodies

 

To ensure effective use of the holistic RFJ model of health and wellbeing

 

To work as part of the RFJ team, ensuring clear communication systems and policies are adhered to.

 

To promote and publicise the work of the project and RFJ

 

To attend relevant meetings as agreed with the line manager.

 

 

Terms and Conditions:

39 hours per week (including unsociable hours for which time off in lieu will be given)

21 (working) days annual leave per year, plus statutory days, plus office closures two weeks Christmas and one week Easter

8% pension contributions

Relatives for Justice does not offer overtime payments but operate a time in lieu policy.

A lone worker policy is in place for the well being of all staff.

PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION

Job Title: Therapeutic Programme Co-Ordinator

 

Post:Therapeutic Programme Coordinator 

 

Essential Criteria:

 

A relevant third level degree plus two years’ experience of working in a therapeutic environment with victims and survivors of conflict harms

or

A minimum five years’ experience of working in a therapeutic environment with victims and survivors of conflict harms

 

An in-depth proven understanding of the impact of the conflict on the bereaved and injured

 

Working knowledge of implementation of good governance and accreditation standards in the field of victims and survivors and therapeutic intervention

 

Awareness of child protection frameworks

 

Extensive knowledge of outcome-based monitoring and evaluation tools

 

Extensive experience of and commitment to partnership and multi-agency working

 

A commitment to the aims and objectives of Relatives for Justice

 

A commitment to equal opportunities and human rights

 

A driving license and access to own transport or proven ability to fulfil the demands of the post
