Job description

Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 1
Contract Term: Fixed Term for 1 year
Salary: Grade 3, Point 6-9, £19,444 - £20,433 pro rata per annum (£22,737 - £23,893 FTE)
Start Date: ASAP (depending on safer recruitment checks )
Contract Type: Term-Time 32.5 hours per week (8.30/8.40am-3.30/3.40pm, Monday - Friday)
Grantham Additional Needs Fellowship comprises of two Grantham-based campuses, Ambergate Campus and Sandon Campus.
Sandon Campus caters for pupils between the ages of 3 and 19 with severe learning difficulties and complex needs. Our pupils’ needs are wide ranging; many are on the autistic spectrum, with others having Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
Ambergate Campus caters for pupils between the ages of 4 and 16 with moderate learning difficulties many are on the autistic spectrum, with others having ADHD and varying degrees of developmental delay.

The schools are part of CIT (Community Inclusive Trust), a Multi Academy Trust comprising of special and mainstream primary schools across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
We are looking to appoint a dedicated, engaging Teaching Assistant to help us provide the best support and actively encourage pupil learning and development. The role may be linked to specific 1:1 pupils with complex medical needs.
