Product Marketing Manager

Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Marketing Manager to guide further development and improvements of our disruptive analytical solutions for life sciences research, focusing on the consumables department. The successful candidate will work at the interface between key customers, the sales team and the R&D teams to deliver winning product solutions. Building on an exceptional market opportunity, this is a great chance to shape the consumable product portfolio of a high-growth start-up company.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Define strategy and roadmap for consumables offerings based on consolidated customer requirements, market dynamics and business
- Feedback to the R&D to guide future development and new product.
- Run beta and usability pilot programs with early-stage products
- Be an expert with respect to the competition and what ‘good’ looks like
- Work with the marketing + sales teams on product positioning, customer segmentation and targeted content
- Sales training on consumables product
- Support sales activities to enable repeat business with existing customers
- Act as product champion in the company
Candidate Requirements:
- Understanding of the applications of our products in the life sciences - degree in e.g. biology or biochemistry
- Strong commercial mindset, experience in managing products for life sciences research preferable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially presentation of scientific content to different audiences
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority preferable
- Regular travel to customers, conferences or workshops (up to 40%)
