Have you got financial modelling experience and looking to manage a small team?

This reputable public sector organisation are currently seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Managing a small you will be the key driver in the day-to-day running and oversight of the team, driving through improvements to the current process and acting as a point of escalation if needed. The key duties of this Financial Planning & Analysis Manager are as follows:

• To manage the finance team below you, ensuring all work is accurate, completed on time and training and coaching if offered and detailed regularly to keep the forward momentum of the team and allow career growth.
• Look at and help create the 30 year financial plan and financial modelling for the organisation moving forward.
• Produce reports for senior managers, board members, lenders and credit agencies in regards to the organisations loan positions and governance. Looking at the budgeting, forecasting and cash flow for interest payable and receivable and ensuring best value for money is being achieved.

This is a fantastic role for an experienced financial professional who enjoys creating financial models and analysing data telling the story behind the numbers. This opportunity also works extremely close with key management figures and will be based in Middlesbrough 1 day a week in the office.

The successful Financial Planning & Analysis Manager candidate will have:

• Achieved their full accountancy qualification. Part qualified accountants who are actively studying are advised to still apply.
• A strong financial modelling and future business planning experience is essential and the ability to relay your knowledge and understanding in depth in an interview.
• Experience or the desire to manage a small team which are responsible for consolidating and reporting for the organisation.
• The ability to relay complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Brilliant communication and interpersonal skills.
