Job description
Technical Network are recruiting for platers and fabricators for a manufacturer of major projects in Portsmouth.
In this role you will be working as part of a team of 2-3 up to 40-50 employees, to deliver large scale projects at the highest of standards.
- Up to £32,900 per annum, depending on experience
- 37 hours per week minimum
- Working hours significantly more during peak periods
- Additional hours paid at overtime rate

About the job:
- Electrical Ark / Mig welding
- Refit, maintenance and ventilation of serving military vessels
- Working on afloat and drydock vessels
- Installing new components and completing structural repairs
The right candidate:
- Comfortable with necessary military security clearance checks, including the requirement to have been continuously resident in the UK for the last 10 years
- ITAR cleared
- Qualified with a relevant NVQ or time served with appropriate trade apprenticeship
- Competent at welding electrical ark / Mig and using a wide range of hand tools and equipment
- Relevant industry experience, such as oil and gas, off shore, construction, marine etc
- Ability to work at heights and confined spaces
