Job description

Live-in Nanny with extensive travel, Holland Park, W14
Start Date: ASAP
Location:Holland Park, London W14 (with regular travel to Greece and Switzerland)
Contract: Permanent contract, live-in / Residential Nanny - sole charge
Charge: Boy born September 2021
Hours: 8am to 8pm (with a two-hour break) plus monitor overnight, five days per week
Salary: up to £75k (DOE)
Other: EU passport is essential, British ILR (settled status) is essential
Pets: Family dog (Labrador)

This family got in touch with Arthur’s House as they are looking for an all rounder to join their team! Their little boy is happy and healthy, in a good routine, eating and sleeping well. The nanny will be expected to continue his routine and develop this as he gets older to ensure he hits his developmental milestones. The role is unique in that it offers a large amount of travel to Greece and Switzerland and is also a live-in position. If you’re looking for something a bit different from the usual day-to-day and feel you are a professional and reliable nanny, this may be the role for you.

Expectations and duties

- Ensuring the child's safety and well-being at all times
- Creating a stimulating and nurturing environment for the child
- Planning and carrying out age-appropriate activities to aid the child's development
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the child
- Managing the child's schedule and ensuring he gets enough rest
- Keeping the child's areas neat and tidy
- Assisting with potty training and teaching good hygiene habits
- Booking and organising travel arrangements for the child
- Accompanying the child and family on travels, and ensuring the child's routine is maintained during travel
- Providing regular updates to the parents on the child's progress and any issues
- Being adaptable and flexible to accommodate the family's changing needs

Accommodation*

The accommodation for the nanny will comprise a private bedroom and shared bathroom with the little boy within the family home.

Basic Requirements to apply

- Excellent references from previous families
- Good examples of long tenure in previous roles showing your commitment to the families you have worked for
- An up to date DBS check / background check - Paediatric First Aid Certificate and basic childcare qualifications
- **EU passport** is essential, **British ILR (settled status)** is essential due to the travel through Europe
- A positive attitude, a love for children and flexibility are going to be key
