We aim to support and engage young people who struggle to maintain attendance and learning in a school environment, delivering short term, personalised learning programmes through a combination of direct home tutoring and online learning, for pupils from ages 5 -19.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in educational and social development of students.
- Working with children with SEN and/or children who have struggled in a school environment.
- Delivering 1:1 or small group lessons in a variety of non school settings
- Supporting children with learning and education based on their individual needs.
- You will need to drive and have access to a vehicle for work as our students are taught either at their own home or in a community-based setting
Requirements:
- QTS or QTLS Qualifications
- Proven teaching and learning experience.
- Up to date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience.
- Energy, passion, and drive to create exciting and engaging lessons for our pupils
- Initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills.
- Ideally have experience and a passion for working with students with SEN/SEMH in a 1-1 or small group setting
