We are looking for a Supply Chain Director / Head Supply Chain / Operations Director / Head of Operations leading Manufactuer in Oxford Package Salary dependant on experience Health Insurance Bonus Scheme Flexible working Role of Supply Chain Director / Head Supply Chain / Operations Director / Head of Operations y o make sure we are getting value for our money and that supplier performance is up to par, we regularly review and manage our relationships with important suppliers, assess their performance, and negotiate terms and prices. Examining the metrics and supply chain profile, resolving any problems, and carrying out activities. Oversee the logistics department of the business. Create and present a set of tactics that will help us acquire important categories in the best possible way, considering quality, total cost of ownership, and time to market. Including current suppliers in our sustainability program and looking to form new alliances with suppliers that reduce our environmental impact through the selection of raw materials, production methods, and freight scheduling. Closely collaborate with department heads to guarantee precise stock availability determined by production demand and sales projections. Create the best possible supply chain networks, shipping, and warehousing to meet delivery and cost goals. Carry out off–site examinations to verify that rules and procedures are being followed correctly. There will be a need to visit abroad. Requirements of Supply Chain Director / Head Supply Chain / Operations Director / Head of OperationsPrevious experience as a Supply Chain Director / Head Supply Chain / Operations Director / Head of Operations or similar.
Hold a degree–holding background and/or demonstrated experience in a related position Certification in supply chain and/or procurement, such as APICS, CIPS, IoSCM, etc.
Experience covering Purchasing and Warehousing / Logistics / Stores
Engineering / Manufacturing background.
CIPS will be beneficial.
ERP experience (SAP Preferred)
7 10 years of experience minimum
five years or more of management experience
Experience in manufacturing or engineering preferred
worldwide experience in supply chains.
