Job Title: Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive
Location: Lancashire
Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive to join this team in Lancashire. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate planning, and powers of attorney.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of private client matters, including will drafting, estate administration, and trust administration.
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on matters related to estate planning, inheritance tax, and asset protection.
- Assist clients with the preparation and execution of wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Handle probate applications and estate administration, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and deadlines.
- Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, and third parties to address any queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry developments to ensure the provision of accurate and effective legal advice.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years of experience in private client law.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in handling a wide range of private client matters, including wills, probate, and estate planning.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
