An Outstanding Secondary School in the London Borough of Westminster is looking to appoint an English Teacher. The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working English Teacher, who will have the aim of raising attainment.

JOB DESCRIPTION – English Teacher
• English Teacher
• Teaching English lessons– KS3 & KS4, KS5 if desired
• Inspiring young minds and raising attainment throughout the Department
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons to inspire a love of learning
• Flexible start date for the right candidate – April / September
• Permanent Contract – employed by the school
• Inner London pay scale - MPS / UPS
• Located in the Borough of Westminster
PERSON SPECIFICATION – English Teacher
• Must have UK QTS
• Strong academic background including degree, A levels & GCSEs
• Applications welcomed from experienced teachers or ECTs
• Advocate for your subject and forward thinking
• Able to deliver creative and engaging English lessons
• Graded ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ in recent lesson observations / performance management
• Have the capacity to enable students to make outstanding progress
• Ambition and determination to strive for excellence
• Committed to a supportive but challenging ethos and culture
