Please note, this role is based full time in the office.
This is a brand new role due to growth of the finance department. Working in a team of 4, reporting to the Group Finance Director, we are seeking a part qualified or qualified by experience accountant with a proven track record in the preparation of management accounts.
This role offers the potential for growth to a Group Management Accountant position.
Key duties will include:
- Preparation of the UK management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary on the UK performance.
- Review and process accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
- Maintain and enhance the ERP's (SAP By Design) reporting and ultimately become the finance system champion.
- Review and, where necessary, propose improvements in UK financial control and reporting systems.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, including commentaries from profit centres and functional managers.
- Assist in the annual audit, including providing information to the auditors to enable the timely preparation of the financial statements.
- Preparing monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
