Overview
This in an exciting role requiring some market knowledge of the Public Sector, Healthcare, Defence & Industrial Supply Chain Markets. The key requirements are:
- To deliver profitable new business.
- Identify new business opportunities, by building key customer relationships.
- Negotiating, and closing business deals
- Maintaining extensive knowledge of market conditions.
How will you contribute?
- Deliver new business targets.
- End to end project leadership, key point of contact for colleagues and customers, the ‘total’ solution expert.
- Support pre-sales customer meetings and prospecting.
- Apply business acumen to filter unsuitable business and qualify best leads from the pipeline.
- Define project approach, developing tailored proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Feedback and benchmark of commercial offering.
- Ambassador for Wincanton to develop external awareness and positive perception of Wincanton’s capabilities and achievements.
- Market, sector, and Wincanton expert.
- Develop close relationships with the operational management team.

- Excellent presentation skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience of CRM (Salesforce).
