Join Our Team as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) in a Primary School in Bargoed

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive educational community in Bargoed!

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: A Primary School in Bargoed

Responsibilities: As a valued member of our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Provide 1-1 and small group support with diverse needs
* Assist in the implementation of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies to each child.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents and staff to ensure holistic support
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies

Qualifications and Skills needed for a SEN Teaching Assistant:

* Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or relevant educational background
* Understanding of various additional needs and the ability to tailor accordingly
* Relevant qualifications (CACHE Level 1/2/3) is desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting the educational development of students

What you’ll need to register with us?

* Be willing to or already hold an Enhanced DBS Check
* Registration with the EWC (We can assist with this)
