 Delivery Manager

As a Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our development processes are optimised and that our teams are working efficiently and collaboratively.

You will be used to working in an Agile / Scrum environment and will drive efficiencies within our Engineering Team. You will come from a technical background and know what good code looks like!

What will I be doing?

As a Delivery Manager, you will work to drive software delivery and manage resources effectively, ensuring alignment with company's objectives and goals. You will oversee product development from inception to delivery while fostering collaboration within and between teams.

Using tools such as Jira and Jellyfish you'll be reviewing team metrics and implementing changes to ensure getting the best from the teams.

You'll also be reporting to senior stakeholders.

• Review team metrics and identify areas of improvements. Ensure that changes are documented and implemented effectively
• Promote agile best practises to ensure team health
• Look at ways to improve overall delivery
• Use retros to gather feedback and identify areas for improvements in future
• Report to stakeholders updates on team health, outcomes from retros, and project updates
• Ensure that changes are documented and implemented effectively

• Own end-to-end software delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and controlled.
• Manage, mentor, and build high-performing teams dedicated to delivering excellent products.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across the business to define project scope and align it with business objectives.
• Maintain transparency and communication regarding project status, risks, and issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and timelines.

Knowledge and Experience

• Prior experience in a technical / digital delivery management or similar position in a technology business is desirable.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects effectively and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to influence stakeholders.
• You will need to come from a digital / technical background in a similar role
