Calling all qualified PWPs! Come and join our Hyndburn & Rossendale NHS Talking Therapies Team based across Hyndburn and Rossendale. We are the local NHS Talking Therapy service offering 1:1 support, group work, telephone and video therapy. We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking and enthusiastic individuals with the appropriate skills and experience delivering guided self-help. If you think this is you, please apply!
Our team at Hyndburn and Rossendale consist of a close team of PWPs, Counsellors and CBT therapists who work hard together to deliver the best outcomes for clients. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative team and PWPs reflect on the benefits this brings, having this opportunity to learn and be guided through their practice.
We are driven to be integrated and proudly link in with specialist services, enhancing patient care as we strive to ensure that clients are receiving the right treatment for their need. Additionally PWPs engage in promotional work for the team, which gives variety to your working week and flexibility to work from different sites.
To provide high quality primary care Talking Therapiesservices to adults with mild to moderate mental health problems.
To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of team policies and procedure.
To deliver Talking Therapiesservices in accordance with NICE guidelines, within agreed activity levels and model, meeting required key performance indicators (KPIs).
To provide advice and consultation on client’s care, to other clinicians and to non-professional carers.
To promote wellbeing and social inclusion.
To work flexibly and in accordance with service demands. This may include support or clinical supervision of band 4 practitioners where appropriate.
To work to the agreed number of clinical contacts per week as set by the Team Lead
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
