Job description

Commercial Manager I am currently working with a leading rail client working on some exciting frameworks in Northern Ireland. Having secured work for the next 5 years in the region, and more awards expected in the Ireland region, they are looking to add to their team. Ideally you'd live locally to Belfast. This role will offer hybrid working, with 3 days working in the office, in Belfast and 2 days working from home.As a Commercial Manager, you will lead the project team commercially and lead the project or framework with any contractual issues or changes along the way. You will provide contract support and lead a team of Quantity Surveyors on the project. Role and responsibilities: Lead and support negotiations with the client on contractual issuesProcurement of plant, material and equipmentComplete CVRs on a monthly basisManage labour and subcontractorsApplication of paymentsAttend project meetings with the project team, sub contractors, client and other stakeholders Candidate requirementsAbsolutely imperative that you have strong experience working on NEC contracts previously.Experience managing multi-million pound contracts and dealing with clients directlyExperience in contractual changes and liaising with the client as requiredExtensive background in multi-disciplinary environments Salary and BenefitsUp to £87,000 basic salaryUp to £6,000 travelHoliday allowance Contributory Pension scheme (up to 7.5%)Life AssuranceHoliday purchase / selling options.Perk and benefits portal We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
