Job description
We have a wonderful setting close to Burgess Hill in West Sussex, looking for a Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) to join their sociable team. Your role will involve creating a safe and stimulating environment, facilitating learning through play, and supporting the individual needs of each child. This is an opportunity to contribute to a child's holistic development and set the stage for a lifelong love of learning.

Responsibilities: - The Nursery Practitioner conducts regular parent consultations to discuss children's progress, address any concerns, and encourage parental involvement in their child's learning journey
- Provide educational support to children, assisting with activities that promote language development, numeracy skills, and social interaction
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience for children
- Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices, new educational methodologies, and industry trends
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Recognised childcare qualification at Level 2 or 3
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with children, colleagues, and parents
- Understanding of the EYFS framework
- Creativity in fostering learning through play and exploration
