Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Ability to provide one-to-one support for SEN students
• Willingness to support within classroom settings
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time 1-to-1 EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school located between Okehampton and Launceston. This role involves providing tailored support for SEN students in the Early Years Foundation Stage, as well as assisting within classroom settings.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN students in the EYFS phase and possess a nurturing and patient approach. Responsibilities include delivering individualised support, assisting with classroom activities, and promoting the inclusion of SEN students within the learning environment.

Candidates must have relevant experience working with SEN students, particularly in the EYFS phase, and hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one support for SEN students in the EYFS phase
• Assist classroom teachers in implementing individualised learning plans
• Support SEN students with their academic, social, and emotional development
• Facilitate inclusive learning experiences within the classroom
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, SENCO, and parents/carers to ensure student progress
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures
