About The Role
Reporting to the Deputy Creative Director and working closely with other members of the Telegraph Leadership Team including the Creative Director and Director of Product and other key stakeholders, the Design Project Manager will play a key role in driving this transformation by delivering the projects in the plan. This role will be aligned to the Design and Product department and will be responsible for supporting the Creative Director and Director of Innovation and their direct reports to deliver on their strategy, process and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Highlighting dependencies between projects o Establish processes for consistent reporting of these projects both to the Creative Director and Chief Product Officer
- Help the project leads to identify, and resolve risks & issues, escalating where necessary
- Deep dive into specific projects to provide assistance where required - process mapping, capturing requirements, setting up workshops, producing presentations, liaising with other departments/stakeholders etc.
- Take an interest in and gain an understanding of the subject matter in order to contribute to decision making
- Identify where additional skills/resources are required to complete the projects
