HSE Coach provides hands-on coaching to rig crew by participating in various in operational activities. In this dynamic role, they will play a crucial part in keeping employees safe and healthy, while ensuring the company upholds the highest. environmental standards. Observing personnel routinely noting both safe and unsafe practices and monitoring compliance with all safety rules, AD policies, and procedures through coaching and constructive feedback. Personally drives/presents to rig crew HSE critical activities. Promotes the use of our risk minimization mechanisms e.g. PTW and the use of STOP & SWA. Systematically conducts his own STOP tour with the rig Supervisors. Constantly verifies that the Rig people know, understand, and apply the AD Policies and procedures. Conducts checks on soft activities like orientation induction, employee understanding of risk management process, etc. Attends pre-tour and toolbox meetings and assists in improving its quality. Participates in performance evaluations of rig crews and their supervisors. Assists in the review and effective implementation of the rig’s emergency response systems. Performs rig audits per agreement with operations HSE Manager Review rig specific JSA, and safety procedures and provides input. Verifies the rig asset integrity by questioning unauthorized equipment modifications. Participate in the rig move operations and conduct informal assessment of mechanical lifting operations. Updating and issuing of HSE alerts. Meeting the client’s safety representative at the rig to follow up on pending issues (RWPs, client initiatives, concerns) and understanding their forward plans to ensure we stay ahead of the closeouts. Assist all rig supervisors by providing safety lectures/ seminars /computerized database. Quarterly performance reviews of his assigned operations. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Contribute to cost-efficient usage of all applicable resources to reduce wastage and unnecessary expense.Adhere to all relevant QHSE procedures, instructions, and controls so that AD provides a safe, best in class, secure and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public and its own people.
BS Degree in health and safety or any other relevant major.
Certifications:
To have accredited assessment and verification qualifications
To have safety accreditation from Occupational Safety and Health Profession
Any professional qualification, which is considered beneficial.
Years of Experience (Minimum):
15 years of experience in rigs operations
Strong understanding of HSE principles, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
The ability to coach, mentor, and motivate others.
Problem-solving skills to identify and address safety concerns effectively.
Proactive and detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
The candidate must have operations background at DRL/ARS/RS level.
